Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in beautiful Glen Clova, near Kirriemuir, Angus, and offers excellent walks directly from behind the property. The rooms are of a very high standard, recently added, and provide a warm and comfy experience. The service is exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist guests, including organizing special meals and attending to personalized requests. The dining experience could be improved in terms of options and timing. The overall location is fantastic for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat.
The hotel room was fine and comfortable, albeit a bit warm on this hot day. The 'Mountain View' was a bit misleading as it actually overlooked the bar roof and adjoining farm. The room was nicely furnished with great facilities, but the absence of chairs and a leaning mirror that needed fixing was a bit of a letdown.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely presented, and the bed was incredibly comfy, giving me one of the best night's sleep in a long time. However, the en suite sink was tiny, and the fan outside the windows in the annex was a bit bothersome when the skylight was open.
My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the dining experience was a bit underwhelming with limited breakfast options. The location was lovely, offering a peaceful break, and the facilities were well-kept. The pricing was decent considering the offering.
